Lazy Jane is a country duo providing a different exciting take on the genre with its flying songs, bold guitar playing, and wonderful vocal combos. The duo was started in the summer of 2016 by now husband and wife Madison and Tristen Smith. Both of them took inspiration from a poem in Shel Silverstein’s “Where the Sidewalk Ends,” the two of them loved the concept of having a name that seemed a little unexpected given the lively sounds of their live concerts. In its short journey, Lazy Jane has played shows not only in many living rooms and dive bars but also in well-known venues and festivals such as the Capitol Theater (Wheeling, WV), Bluebird Cafe (Nashville, TN) and Jamboree in the Hills (St. Clairsville, OH).

In 2020, they released a few songs “Pretty Drifter” and “Devil I Know,” produced by country powerhouse producers Derek George (Randy Houser, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and more) and Julian King (Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and More. 

In October 2021 their brand-new and latest single “Sounds Like You,” came out. The single and their other songs are available both on Spotify and Apple Music.
