Also,Herrera put out his music video for this song, which was shot in the City of Angels and has already has collected 100k+ views.
Herrera grew up in Sacramento, California, by a single mother and his grandparents. It is when he found a rundown ’69 Chevrolet Chevelle that would become his first car, spending countless hours poring over the classic car that was both an essential and loved heirloom. It was also when he started putting his toes into music, writing his own songs and playing guitar with his buddies, calling the craft “a real passion.” Looking at music more than just a hobby but a profession at the time, it was not until his grandpa’s health started to get worse before his passing- a man thought as a father figure (that Herrera’s mind about trying to do music professionally.
It would not be until he was an adult that Herrera strengthens his love to be a musician. After attending a real estate and development class at California State University, he shortly had an interest in commercial real estate brokerage, and is right now working as Executive Vice President at Colliers International. Along working for Colliers International, music was the unseen part guiding him along, kept receiving logical signs that it was part of his journey. One such way happened when Herrera met Bret Bair and Eric Rushing, previous owners of the Sacramento music venue. Ace of Spades (now is owned by LiveNation). Through commercial brokerage the three businessmen have now teamed up to open many live music venues across the city with Bair and Rushing being owners of the businesses and booking the acts, and Herrera being in a charge of them no the real estate side. The positive reinforcement Herrera received after performing some of his songs for Eric, esteemed audio engineer Jeff Balding (who mixed and co-produced the music), and a few of his close buddies, who also have a great ear for music, who reassured that he has a wonderful gift worth sharing with others.
Herrera is currently right now in the studio finishing up his first full-length release. If you would like to find out more about the talented Dave Herrera then check out his website at (https://www.daveherreralive.com).
