Hunter Thomas Mounce is a local of Missouri and grew up in Pleasant Hill. Pleasant Hill, is a tiny town outside of Kansas City. After graduating from the Fire Academy in December of 2012, with no luck of getting on the department, within the next year, he set his time on community college in Springfield, MO. It was thee where Mounce spent many hours in his 600 sq. foot apartment learning the fundamentals of the guitar and writing songs. Upon going back home in the Spring of 2014, he set high sights on music, a brand new passion for himself. Later in the year he co-started a local country/southern rock band, with his buddies, named Barbwire Revolt. In just a little over a year, they achieved many things in the Kansas City area. The peak of the band’s triumph was performing at Longview Lake’s 4TH of July Celebration in front of 20,000 people. Eight days later (July 12, 2016), Mounce moved to Hendersonville, TN to work full time for the Fire Department. Today, he still works for HFD and lives in West Nashville. In over two years, Mounce is making movement in the music world as a solo artist. He teamed up with #1 producer, Kenny Royster, who had a huge impact on his young career. Royster and Mounce both have made a signature sound that put a little modern spin on traditional country.
On January 13, 2021 Mounce brand new single “Alone in the Lone Star,” will be out on Spotify. If you would like to know more about Hunter Thomas Mounce then take a look at his website https://www.huntermounce.com).
