Taylor Hughes is a country-blues southern rock singer/songwriter. She lives in Nashville and grew up in Lexington, KY. Hughes is not your normal pop-country artist. With blues and southern rock inspirations, she showcases a different outlaw sound that showcases different forms of attention.

Award-winning gospel singer and vocal coach, Christy Sutherland, expresses Hughes’ voice “as rich chocolate cake with soul.” Five years in a row she has been nominated in the Lexington Music Awards for Best Female Vocalist, Best Singer/Songwriter, and Song of the Year, winning in 2016, 2018 and 2019.

She has been an opener and got to share the stage with musicians like Chase Rice, Riley Green, Sam Riggs, Angaleena Presley (Pistol Annie’s), and Striking Matches. She has performed on many notable stages such as the Stations Inn, Douglas Corner, Manchester Music Hall, and the Lyric Theater.
