
Country musician Tori Martin is from Texas and moved to Nashville in 2017. Martin has already successes on the Texas Country charts. He singles “From Here to There,” (#22), “Done Deal,” (#19), and “Woman Up (#20) are all adored by her many great fans.
Martin grew up in Azle, Texas, she has always had a love for music. She started singing in church as a little girl and was greatly influenced by her country music-loving Paw-Paw (Martin’s grandpa), who bought Martin’s first guitar. She grew up on classical country artists like Johnny Cash and Tammy Wynette, “Stand by Your Man,” was the first song she learned to sing at 14 years old, she began playing at opry houses around Texas. She recorded her first EP, Falling Straight Up” in Nashville when she was 16 years old and performed her first headlining concert that same year.
Some of her musical icons are Dolly Parton, Whitney Huston and Stevie Nicks, Martin has become known for her outstanding vocals and honest songwriting. In 2014, she was named one of the “New Faces of Country,” by Renegade Radio Nashville and was a contestant on Season 14 of American Idol. In 2015, she was nominated for “New Female Vocalist of the Year” at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. She also played at Taste of Addison, headlined by country artist Granger Smith. Martin also became a co-host for the “Music Biz Besties Songwriter Series” at Just Love Coffee in Nashville.
