
In the summer of 2015, country musician Sarah Morey was picked to attend Grammy Camp Nashville (2015). The camp is put on by the Grammy Foundation. After attending the camp, Morey has been chosen to be a Hard Rock Cafe Ambassador, has also opened for The Bellamy Brothers and was featured on FOX 13 News with Charley Belcher at Creative Souls Cafe. She also plays a lot around the greater Tampa Bay Area and has appeared on Tampa’s local radio station, 88.5 WMNF, many times. She has also played at many different music festivals including The Florida Strawberry Festival and The Gasparilla Music Festival.
In 2016, Morey put out her first self-titled EP showcasing 5 of her songs which were recorded at Hideaway Recording Studios in St. Pete, Flordia along with producer/engineer John Kelly. In 2017, she released an original single titled “Up All Night,” which was recorded at Jagged Audioworks in Tampa, Florida along with producer/engineer Jay Barnett. Morey released her second EP titled “Dust,” in the summer of 2018, She also recorded the “Dust EP at Jagged Audioworks with Jay Barnett. Some of her closet pals were featured on the “Dust” EP for instrumentals including Jacob Fleming (lead guitar, piano, and banjo), Brent Johns (Harmonica), and Katherine Peterson (violin). In the fall of 2018, Morey attended Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business in Nashville, TN as a songwriting major.
