
Alexis Taylor is a Canadian singer/ songwriter. She grew up in the small town of Huntsville, Ontario. As a child, Taylor displayed love and passion for music by writing her own songs and acoustic guitar playing.
After making her first journey to Nashville, Taylor decided to make the move to Music City. A little while later, she saw the launch of her international career in Summer 2016 with a tour throughout Scandinavia, also opening for renowned singer/songwriter Doug Seegers.
At the beginning of 2018, Taylor put out her debut single “Blame The Whiskey,” which started her to appear live on many radio stations throughout North America and take part in events such as Canadian Music Week in Toronto, and the CMA Fest in Nashville. The release of “Blame The Whiskey,” also made Taylor taking home the award of “Female Vocalist of the Year” at the 2018 Tennessee Music Awards, playing at the USO Northwest Gala, and taking the #1 spot for 10 straight weeks on Reverb Nation’s provincially ranked country artists charts.
After putting out her second single, “How Do You Sleep,” which received international playing time. Taylor put her third single “Bend The Truth,” on May 31, 2019 and David Browning in Nashville produced it. Her latest release was nominated for Female Rising Star of The Year,” at the 2019 Josie Music Awards, and also for many nominations for the KICMA awards.
