Only three notes in and it is clear that Liv Charette’s voice is something wonderful. A few years ago, her singing skills caught the attention of Emerson Drive’s Danick Dupelle, who urged Charette to make the journey from her hometown of Ottawa, Ontario to Nashville, TN to work on writing and recording of her own her music. After many trips back and forth, she decided to movie to Nashville “Music City.”
Charette spent her first several years in Nashville improving her skill, both in and out of the recording studio. She played at writers’ rounds around town and performed shows in both the United States and Canada. She received a degree from Belmont University and studied the recording process from top to bottom. She also picked up her guitar and wrote whenever she could. Charette has confined songs with some of Nashville’s most famous hitmakers as well as a group of up and coming songwriters. Her first single “Bones,” was released in October 2018 and her single “Lips on the Bottle,” came out in December of 2018. Charette’s newest single “Boy Crazy,” is a very enjoyable and upbeat song.
