
At the young age of 14 Dawson Edwards purchased his first guitar at a local pawnshop in his hometown of Rome, Georgia. Soon after he was playing at local restaurants and bars creating a name for himself while still attending high school. After graduating Edwards got a job at the Capitoline Inc. building counter tops to save up the money to make the move to Nashville to follow a career to become a singer/songwriter in the country music world.
At 19, he made the move to Nashville, and had a job working the night shift filling up trucks at UPS to make ends meet, while writing music in the day. In 2106 he was picked to be in the ASCAP’s GPS program, which helped him to work carefully with Nashville publishers and writers. In December of 2017 Edwards signed a high-class worldwide publishing contract with BMG Nashville.
