Matt Rogers~ “Q&A”!!!

Music City SongStar Winner, NSAI Top-40 songwriter and Georgia Country Awards Overall Artist of the Year, Matt Rogers, is no foreigner to the stage. He has also performing in over 200 shows a year of playing at different venues across the southeast and sharing the stage with some of country biggest artists and groups like Old Dominion, Clint Black, Jake Owen, Cole Swindell, LOCASH and Michael Ray. Rogers has developed a huge fan base with his exciting stage presence.

When he is not on the road, he is writing music with some of Nashville’s most talented songwriters. He was recently awarded the top award from Music City SongStar for his single “She Was Everything.” Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and CMT picked his “I Was Raised,” for a songwriting achievement award. It also went on to be selected by NSAI as a Top 40 song.

This Georgia boy makes a bond with his listeners through his emotionally gripping lyrics and unique melodies. His talent has captured the attention of many fans as well as a country legend such as TG Sheppard shares that Rogers is “the real deal…the total package. [He’s] a great singer, a great picker and a great songwriter.” Rogers also received praisefrom industry tastemaker, Robert K. Oermann. Oermann picked the title track for Roger’s EP, “Richest Place on Earth,” for the Music Row’s DisCovery Award. Oermann also praised the track saying that it was “extremely well written and sung with excitement and confidence.

Also Rogers released a music video for the title track for his sophomore project, “Richest Place On Earth.” Emmy Award Winning production company, “Tytan Pictures,” recorded the video in Rogers’ hometown of Eatonon, GA. The video followed the release of his lyric video for his previous song, “Britches,” which debuted on The Boot earlier this year. The release came just in time for Rogers’ second time at the CMA Fest 2018, where he sang on stages such as CMA’s Spotlight Stage, Maui Jim Hard Rock Stage and the famous Wildhorse Saloon. He also met fans from the across the world inside Fan Fair X where he signed autographs at the Durango Boots booth. In 2017, Rogers became one of the first Brand Ambassadors for Durango Boots. His touring calendar is continuing across the country.
