Brian Fuller’s Q&A!!!

1.    Hi Brian, can you tell me a little bit about yourself before you became a country musician?

I was born in Savannah, Ga and grew up in a small town called Springfield, Ga. Music has always been a huge part of my life, I have a lot of musicians in my family so playing music has really been all I have ever wanted to do!

2.    When did you start listening to country music and how did you know you wanted a career in it?

I got into country music when I was about 12 or so but I grew up listening to all kinds of music but because of where I grew up I related to country music a lot more. Like I mentioned in Q1 I always knew that music was what I wanted a career in but I guess at around age 14 I found myself leaning more torwards the country industry

3.    Who are some of your musical icons?

Dave Grohl (front man for the foo fighters) is for sure my #1 musical icon, his work ethic and story is inspirational.

4.    What is the background story behind your latest single “Myself?”

I wrote this song a little over a year ago and I wrote it about an experience I had with an ex of mine and I felt like it was something a lot of people could relate to. I feel like everyone has had a person in thier life that is just toxic but instead of letting them go they keep them around and I have always heard people blame the other person for it saying things like ” They just wont leave me alone” or ” I hate them for doing this to me” but the honest truth is it is that persons fault for keeping them around because we all have the power to say “no” its just up to you to say it. So the point behind the song is me realizing that I was the one hurting myself not her hurting me. I was never going to put the song out but one night I played for a group of friends and they talked me into recording it and after bringing it to life I fell in love with it!

5.    Is there anything new coming up with your music in 2019?

Yes, I will be putting out some new tunes very soon, we have not set a date yet but I can say it will be with in the first 3 or 4 months in the new year and we will be hitting the road so Im hoping to see everyone out at a show!

6.    What is your favorite thing about performing your own music live to a crowd?

Seeing them dance and enjoying the moment and hearing them sing the songs back to me, it gives me chills every time

7.    What is one of your favorite quotes?

“No matter where the day takes you, enjoy the getting there”

Im not sure who said it but I read it on a birthday card and I loved it!

8.    Is there anything else you would like to share?

Thank you for asking me to be apart of your blog, I enjoyed answering your questions, I hope this new year is everything you hope it could be and I hope to see y’all at a show!
