Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean and Flordia Georgia Line lead the CMT Awards nominations with four each. Other singers with more than one nomination in 2018, includes Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, Lauren Alaina and Thomas Rhett. Bebe Rexha, Blake Shelton, Brothers Osborne, Carly Pearce, Dan+Shay, Danielle Bradbery, Justin Timberlake, Kane Brown, Keith Urban, LANCO and Ludacris are all nominated with two CMT Awards.
Also for the first time in CMT Awards history, the Video of the Year group showcases pop artists in 2018. Timberlake’s “Say Something,” is a duet with Stapleton, and Bebe Rexha’s duet with FGL “Meant to Be,” are both nominated this year.
Little Big Town are going to host the 2018 CMT Awards, which will on air on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 8pm ET/PT on CMT. The CMT Awards are chose by fan voting, which is open from now until 12:01 am ET on Monday June 4. The top 5 Video of the Year nominees will be broadcasted the morning of the show and fans will be able to vote all day and throughout the show on Twitter before the award is reveled that night.
