academy-of-country-music-awards-2018-tickets_04-15-18_17_5a32da51829ab.png    Country singer Reba McEntire will host the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards: making it the 15th time she’s hosted the award show. The Academy of Country Music shared the news on Thursday along with the complete list of nominees.

Chris Stapleton leads with 8 nominations. He is up for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. He is also nominated two times in both the Album of the Year and Single Record of the Year groups for both as singer and a producer.

Thomas Rhett has 6 nominations, including Male Vocalist of the Year, and Keith Urban has 5. This will be the 11th time Urban is in the running for Male Vocalist of the Year and the 8th time he is up for Entertainer of the Year.

Miranda Lambert is up for 4 nominations. If she takes home the award for Female Vocalist of the Year, it would be her 9th consecutive win in this category. Maren Morris also has 4 nominations and Little Big Town is the running for Vocal of the Year.

There will even be some newbies in a couple of categories. While Tim McGraw has 18 ACM Awards and Faith Hill, has 16; this is the 1st time the two have been nominated in the Vocal Duo of the Year category.

In addition to hosting, McEntire is a candidate for Female Vocalist of the Year, her 16th nomination and likely 8th win in the category.
