Norwegian singer/songwriter Liv Austen grew up in a musical home and sang early on in her childhood. As a teenager she began to write her own songs, and in August 2014 she put out her first record, the four track EP, “Workin’ Man’s Dream.”
Austen started receiving approval from other musicians and bands and got wonderful reviews from blogs such as 4000 Miles to Nashville and For The Country Record.
Her first single off the EP was “Rain On My Side,” and the listeners favorite “The Guts You Always Had” followed soon afterward. Austen’s song “Don’t Regret a Single One” from her 2016 EP “Who I am Today” was her first song to be played on BCC Radio2. Just two years after her EP she is now considered a main player on the UK country scene and then her new single “Over”, was written by Ben Earle (The Shire), and was released through Decca Records.
In 2017, Austen signed a recording and publishing deal with NUA Entertainment run by Paul Hardcastle, and is currently working on her debut album.
