1.     Hi Tim, can you tell me a little bit about yourself before you became a country musician?

I moved to California about 14 years ago for work in entertainment marketing.  I continue to play in a hockey league, play beach volleyball and ski in my free time.

2.     How did you become country singer and how did you know you wanted to sing for a career?

In May of 2014, I was approached at a Karaoke bar near my home in Playa del Rey by the friend of a songwriter out of El Paso, TX. By amazing timing and circumstance, I found myself opening for John Michael Montgomery at Fort Bliss just 2 months later.  It was the first time I had ever performed on stage and it was in front of 10,000 people.  I was hooked.

3.     Who are some your musical icons?

George Strait, Kenny Chesney

4.     Where do you see yourself in the next 5 to 10 years in your career?

We are focused on touring this spring and recording our new tunes.  We are trying to build our fan base and hope to work our way into performing at larger festivals in the next two years.

5.     If you could a sing duet with a singer or group who would it be and why?

Jennifer Nettles and I would let her sing my part too!

6.     What is your favorite song that you ever recorded?

At this point, I would have to say “My View” is my favorite.  It is more of a traditional country tune and for me it is symbolic of my transition to becoming a solo artist.

7.     If you were not a country singer what do you think your career would be?

Life on the road sounds pretty good to me.  Maybe a tour manager for a major act.

8.     What is one accomplishment that you are most proud of so far in your career?

There have been several shows where individuals have approached me afterwards, and they have told me that we struck a cord with them emotionally because of something they were going through in their life.  That to me is the main reason for writing music and performing.  If I can move an audience with our lyrics and melodies and connect with them emotionally, I know I’ve done my job as an artist, and fulfilled my personal dream.

9.     If you had to give advice to an up and coming musician what would you tell them?

Be YOU.  Have fun and just enjoy what you are creating.

10. What is one of your favorite quotes?Drive fast, take chances..12a3238
