Micks is an Australian songwriter and Country-recording artist. Micks began writing songs of her own life events when she was a child. She created her own lyrics and melodies on a self-taught acoustic guitar. She started her country music career in 2014 and has written many of her own singles, including her iTunes country album EP “Have Faith” in June 2016.
Micks’ first single, “Time to Grow” has been well praise, along with her singles “Fade Away”, “New Life” and “Catch Me If I Fall.” Her song “New Life” was her most successful single release to date and it was released to support of the White Ribbon Foundation in 2015. Micks have also used her social media account to support various non-profit organizations, such as the RSPCA. Micks offer her music for free licensing to the charity, also she appears at different RSPCA events to both perform and promote awareness for the cause.
In June of 2016, Micks released her first EP through KMC Records, which is a independent label. Also her EP landed #9 on the Australian iTunes Country Album Charts. Micks’ music video for “Catch Me If I Fall” was added to the Country Music Channel (CMC) Foxtel Network playlist.
