Artist Spotlight: Karianne Jean!!

Karianne Jean grew up in Palmdale, California. At 2 years old, she started singing every popular Disney Princess song. Her mother, a trained classical singer, encouraged her to follow her dreams. Karianne’s mother was able to teach her the techniques of singing. At the age of 12, she started to write her own songs. She continued to pursue songwriting while in college as she enrolled into several songwriting classes. After college, she moved to Studio City, CA, where she worked with music producer Craig Stull on her song “Cactus.”

            Today, Karianne is living in Nashville, continuing to work more on her music. Also, her song “Cactus” has been playing on many online radio and podcast country stations. She has also been listed on the Reverbnation Top 10 Country Artists in Nashville Charts for several continuous months. Karianne was also nominated as “Female Country Artist of the Year” at the IMEA awards, which celebrates excellence in Independent Music and Theater.
